LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Seacoast Expressive Arts (SEA) does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information in, or views expressed on, its workshops or training courses including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of SEA. Participants who are licensed, conditionally licensed or pre-licensed professionals should follow their own set of ethical guidelines as outlined by their licensing boards when dealing with professional situations.

 

CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER

Cancellation by participantIf you notify SEA in writing (by email or post) that you wish to cancel a face-to- face training course not less than 14 days before the start date of a course, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receiving your request via bank transfer to the original payer. If you withdraw for any reason less than 14 days before the start date of a course, no refund will be issued but you may transfer your place on the course to a substitute. Substitutions should be notified to SEA at least 48 hours prior to the course start date. If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked without giving prior notice to SEA, we are unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.

 

Cancellation by SEA. SEA reserves the right to cancel any workshop or training course due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. In the case of insufficient enrollment for professional development offerings, SEA will provide notice to you at least 7 calendar days prior to schedule commencement date. 

There are occasions when a SEA event is cancelled due to extreme weather and we offer an alternative “snow date” at registration. Participants who do not attend the snow date are not eligible for a refund or a transfer. In the event of cancellation by SEA, you may elect to receive a full refund of registration fees paid or credit toward alternative class(es).

 

COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

If a participant or future participant would like to express a concern about their experience with Seacoast Expressive Arts they may call or email Adrienne Cress, 603-312-2903, admin@seacoastexpressivearts.com. Although we do not guarantee a particular outcome, the individual can expect us to consider the complaint, make any necessary decisions and respond within 14 days.
